Hands down one of the best brunch spots we have been to in Michigan! Large portions and everything tasted really well. Quite a robust menu so definitely coming back! The Lox Benedict and omelette were on point. The croissant french toast was definitely the highlight of the meal and had us licking our plates! Cons: Blueberry biscuits were quite tarty and a bit dry. I would recommend they serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Didn’t care much for the coffees. We got a cappuccino and americano.

Before today, I had 2 favourite restaurants in the US. After eating here today, I now have 3. Unbelievably amazing food, coffee made to perfection (yes, that's right - milk heated to it's optimal temperature of 140F for perfect coffee) and service that's second to none. Clearly an institution that's loved and respected by locals - a real joy to see. Thank you to Michelle and her team, who run a tight and efficient ship!

This place is a gem! Customer service is always friendly and efficient. The food plates are always hot, tasty, and flavorful! Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. I love how they support their local artists! If you haven’t visited this place, you need too! Wait times are not long, even when there is a line - usually 15-20 minutes!

Meh. I went here 3 times. Got the same thing: scrambled eggs, potatoes and toast with coffee. Coffee and service was good. The food not so much. All 3 times it was the exact same. The eggs where barely warn, overcooked and dry. Exactly like they came out of a bin at a free continental breakfast in a hotel lobby. Congealed. Worse part for me was the potatoes. For breakfast potatoes, all they have are "spuds" which are basic French fry cubes that taste like they came frozen out of a brown paper bag into a deep fryer. I've never been to a breakfast place that did not have hash browns. French fries should go with burgers. It's easy to boil and grate potatoes. Another big issue is the acoustics. I'm not sensitive to loud noises, but this place made my ears ring. Even my last visit with only 3 couples in the place, the noise is horrible. The space is not designed to be a diner. They need to add some sound dampening or free-standing partitions. It's like an echo chamber. I worry about the workers hearing. I really want to make this place work for me. Maybe their success lies in their sugary pancake type meals...I'm not sure. I just do not see it as a breakfast place, maybe it's a dessert place.
